5 Master Shots
Contrast
The contrast exists between the two moods Woody shows in the video. He is, at first, very nice and compliments Jonathan's hair. Eventually, Woody sees me and pushes me down in a bout of anger.
Parallelism
In the first shot, You can see myself heading towards the middle of the courtyard. On the next shot, Woody is heading to the same spot from the other side of the courtyard. This makes it seem that Woody and I are walking right towards each other.
Symbolism
The shot shows our camera zooming into the camera on the TV Production pass and then the next shot starts which displays one of Mrs. Henderson's actual cameras. The symbolism is present as the camera picture on the pass turns into an actual camera.
Simultaneity
Both shots were taken at similar staircases, making the impression that they were the same staircase. The cross-cut shots eventually led to the top of the ladder where the audience could finally see that the stairs led to different locations.
Leitmotif
In this leitmotif shot, we set the pace of the race with the tapping of our feet. The tapping of our feet causes the video to have a set rhythm in which causes the whole sequence to come together. The leitmotif would become clearer once audio clips are added to the video.
